Original Message Precision Aero in Oregon also ditched their fleet of 269/300 aircraft and moved to a fleet of Cabri G2s. My guess is that it had to do with decades of ownership changes (Hughes, Schweizer, Sikorsky, Lockheed, Schweizer RSG) and difficulty getting spares. Good flight schools log a lot of hours, and need spares. If you can't support your fleet, you get a new fleet.
