That's why Cambodia and Laos were invaded. And- I was there 69-70. Most of the VC/NVA with real commitment didn't survive Tet, mini-Tet in '68. And all the logistics hoarded over the border(s) in the the years leading up to '68 were expended in Tet/mini-Tet. I never saw a manpads fired at us. In fact, I never saw a green tracer- everything shot at us was supplied by us. Friend, I am so glad I left before Laos... |
