These Cargo flights with Arms for Ukraine have been landing in China and sometimes Japan .  Japan makes sense but why China?

I thought China and Russia are planning on War Games with Iran , surely China would not support transit of Arms  to Ukraine and the Cargo flights have many options for fuel other than China .
