Yeah, that would suck.  AMC doesn't question your weather turn-downs at all.  They know the medcrew culture is the way it is.  

I was at a base where medcrew minimums were 2000/3 day 2500/5 night.  Never had management question our turndowns.

They didn't cry about the rain, but got REALLY nervous when vis dropped below 5 miles day or 10 miles night.  Acting like a cat in room full of rocking chairs... started talking about places we could land (I'd offer if they wanted to, but said "no- only if it gets worse")
