Don't care what sex, color, or religion you are associated with as long as you are qualified and sane.  During a recent set of job interviews for an opening, the person who handled the aircraft the best of four candidates just happened to be female.  As it is, she would have been a welcome sight compared to one we have on the payroll now going through the training.
