A person died, and authorities took another to a hospital after a helicopter crashed Sunday evening in Perry.

Authorities told KOCO 5 that the helicopter crashed near Interstate 35 and Highway 412 and caught fire. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, and Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials said another was medi-flighted to a hospital.
