Agree on the so-called not for profit designation.  They should more properly be known as "non-taxpaying entities", as profit is spread to members of the organization.  You can go onto Guidestar.org and view any non-for-profit's IRS Form 990 (tax return for NFPs) and learn how funds are distributed.  You can access Hospital Wing's Form 990 by entering "Memphis Medical Center Air Ambulance".  Here is what the latest 990 shows.  Two things are likely to happen with the acquisition:  rates will go up and salaries will go down.  Not sure how many aircraft or bases Wing operates.

CEO   Salary  $167,122          Other Compensation: $ 33,719

NURSE/BASE MGR   Salary $139,248   Other Compensation $26,675

PILOT 40.00   Salary $132,743    Other compensation: $29,426

PILOT Salary $132,515  Other Compensation:  $12,723

PILOT   Salary:  $ 131,938   Other Compensation $5,316

PILOT   Salary: $129,725    Other Compensation: $15,458
