spend hours away from home but most EMS pilots don't work most of the time they are there. Most I know grew lazy from years of sitting around flying 20-30 hours a month. Not all for sure but slot. Cracks me up when I hear these pilots talk about being underpaid...like every other profession, if you don't like the pay do something else!
