You are right. I checked before cohabitating with her. My state does not have common law marriage benefit. All my cars are register in a trust, Separate bank accounts, she has no idea what my take home pay is and I don’t know hers. Some may say this relationship is in a bad place but she has her household responsibility and I have mine. 11 years it’s been pretty good.
