You are probably the one who writes up discrepancies like annunciator inop. Mech goes out and turns day night switch to day,wasting his time, causing down time, having to write "day night switch set to day, annunciator checked and found okay."

If you aren't the one, then you haven't been in the business long enough to know what is stupid. You are too much of a greenhorn to not know what you don't know. You would have been much better off not displaying your ignorance. For your information, discrepancies like that should NEVER be written up.
