That most EMS posts on here are just those employees throwing stones? 
If you're that miserable? Then QUIT! You're the problem.

Company will never have a pilot's back. NEVER Ever ever ever;  They can get rid of you, but you can't get rid of them, even when they're wrong and you're right. (They=Medical side) sucks being the scapegoat for other peoples problems...

And point is if you don't like it, then quit....

HAA Pilot has a point.  

they dislike pilots because they don't like being told what to do and we can be there get outta jail free card. excuses fly when things don't go their way.

Pilot's unsafe, pilot's mean, pilot doesn't know what there doing, pilot's making me feel uncomfortable. pilot's lazy, pilot's a smoker (that one's my favorite) pilot's loud, pilot's tooo quiet, pilot's closes door and ignores us, pilot eats meat, pilot's doesn't eat meat, pilot's too young, pilot's too old, the list goes on and on and on...

you bringing up the issue of crews not liking me proves you're one of those medical types.

i fly for a smaller regional EMS company and treat all of my crews like human beings. sorry to hear you company sucks. maybe leave?

No one called you a jerk, I treat others as I wish to be treated. but when the rubber meets the road, most, no all, med crews will leave a pilot to wolves. and I am working on finding another job, a lot of us are...

med crews can be easy to get along with but the reality is most resent having to "share the stage" with a pilot because most of them are lazy and insecure weirdos

 You preach man! Hmm.. 10 years ago I felt the same about Home Depot. Company first. Money over whatever some truck loader (me) thought. Get the pitchure?  We work for companies they don't work for us. Money first, last, always.

Well the Airlines are hiring 25 year old zit faced kids who will not after long be making 250k and on. Meanwhile lazy 30-40-50 something helicopter ems pilots whine and complain and will retire making 120k. Yay for you. Most if not all couldn't cut it in the airlines, the airlines need professionals who can fly IFR and who can handle the responsibility of heavy iron rolling down the runway.
