last 4 years has shown a huge uptick of "social media influencers" buying aircraft and posting their flying online. I would say only 5% of them do so with the intent of respecting the profession. The others do so for click bait as well as documenting their poor decisions for the FAA. Question is, when will they step in and enforce the reckless flying and decisions? Flying R66 4 feet over a crowded lake with no floatation Within feet of people?....

When I started PPG I refused to get an action cam until I first logged 200 flight hours.  It's just too much of a distraction and novice pilots need to keep their head on a swivel for those first critical couple hundred flights and LEARN to fly.  Not document mistakes.  Because there will be many mistakes.....ever more so with a camera on their head.

All the F-up and crash vids you see out there in FPV are 99% novice pilots out there who have no hours or clue what they have gotten themselves into.

Just because it isn't public knowledge doesn't mean they aren't getting enforcement actions.

I agree, using Kathy Hochal's label, "these CLOWNS are bad for aviation''.  Certainly not professionals.  I wonder if they just couldn't keep a job with out f--king up?

I've seen a restricted / experimental blackhawk flying within feet of people, fully loaded with passengers, which they claim was in "international waters"...regardless of where it was, the decision making of whoever was PIC is poor.

Red R66 with rope tied to the skid with people using it as a rope swing into a pond.

BO105 pulling a water skier.

doubt any of them had a 133 operating certificate...

Do external load without operating cert or pilot sign off...

post on internet for everyone to see.

get compensation from YouTube for view due to conducting external load.

close loop on receiving compensation for conducting external load, while documenting the act.
