With today's announcement that Jefferson Health and Lehigh Valley Health are officially becoming one system. anyone in the know on what will happen with their respective flight programs - JeffStat and MedEvac. Both I believe operate 4 bases and both are Air Methods programs. Wondering if they will keep their own identities or if the new system will combine them into 1 program? |

With both health systems and air methods looking to cut costs, I suspect some contracture will be inevitable. |

With none of the helicopters in the same area it's unlikely any will be cut. If any of the current base close the competition will be in like Flynn. |
