I doubt the pilot forgot he had an external load hooked on. That is all Kmax pilots do. Agree with dynamic roll over. Wind appears to be an issue along with the rigid pole LL set up. Too bad another Kmax has been crashed. Kaman has shut down production again. |

Dynamic roll over yes. Pilot forgetting he had an external load on the hook highly unlikely. That is all Kmax Pilots do, flying external ops. I hear Kmax's are a handful in the wind. Maybe the quartering gusty winds had some play. Rotex has had tough luck as of late. Second kmax crash is last 3 years but they keep buying replacements. |
