You really think it should take them a couple years to catch up? And a couple years people will leave. If you look at the stepping creases it's only about $100-$200 a paycheck more

not get anymore than 3/4%

they will continue to operate old ragged out   407/76s.135s

Maybe the oil and gas side but never the medical side with present mgmt

They need to merge the ceritificates , and save money and weed out all the useless pilot/mechanic, medical managers

There not great but 3/4 of a percent would literally be you make 100 grand and get a 750$ raise. Just look at the scale it's no that bad.

And merged to separate them back around 2012 Due to business reasons, budgets and due to AMG dragging down their safety status on OSHA recordables and Olil companies look at bottom line OSHA status when bidding on a vendor.  Won't ever happen the merge again.  Easier to sell off.  I see them being sold off soon by their investor group.  Ratty old aircraft now, old 407/EC/ and legacy model B3 astars.  They haven't bought a new aircraft in probably 8yrs.  The HEMS side gets all the old OG stuff they have surplused and GMR and AMC bought up all the slots for Bell/Eurocopter

You realize when they do a sell off it will probably be to the public? See it's not like you take a company like phi and put it on face book and jim bob buys it up. Basically they will go public with company launching a ipo and relinquish control to the share holders we have no idea how much control they will want to maintain in the company for all we know they will still want some. But selling those shares is how they will make there money.

As far as that argument goes if the aircrafts can do there mission it doesn't really matter how old they are they are maintained to incredibly high standards. You make it sound like phi is driving around in a bunch of 92 honda civic they are on there last leg of life

Its a step raise, not a COL raise, a step raise. It just says thanks for hanging around another year. I'll gladly take it because spring is here and, thanks to bidenomics, my minnows and crickets cost more!!!

between a step raise and a cola. if PHI doesn't have a pay scale, it's not a step raise

What does it matter if they're maintained to high standards? Well, for one, they aren't.

For two who cares if the aircraft can do their mission? Well, they can't do them all. Wear and tear adds up, so does sheet metal repair and coats of paint. Penetrating bird strikes to areas other than the windscreen, roll overs, getting smashed in a collapsed hangar, etc... Every repair, every repaint, they just keep getting heavier and heavier. Even if you're under max gross they CG out now. Our customers wonder why we can't take a 250lb patient even if we burn fuel. CG issues! These things have been repaired and repainted for 24+ years.

Say what you want about phi but there aircrafts are in really good condition for people that say they aren't clearly haven't worked anywhere else. Furthermore there to blame phi literally will let you order whatever you want when it comes to maintenance. It's your fault if your aircraft is in bad shape

Why do I CG out at a patient weight of 240, other Astars in my program don't cg out at all? Standardized equipment on board, so what's the difference? I'm all ears.

Fat pilot's and especially med crews is why you can't carry a 250lb patient. There are weight restrictions for crew, but PHI AM ignores that and lets them sit around and eat their donuts.
