is waaaaay Higher...Starting at around $95k (which is on job postings) then add in your Geo Mod on there and whatever stipends...some bases top off at at around $125k or more....i started off and negotiated my pay with the recruiter and went thru HR for approval with my previous experience etc and SPIFR time, they started me at $98k without any modifiers etc.... |

Stop spewing this bonus/add-on/incentive crap and adding it to your salary. Those are not salary and can and will be taken away at a moments notice. The starting BASE pay is between $80k - $95k. Don't try to sway the numbers like the Just Helicopters / Vertical poll does every year. You do not make as much BASE PAY as you think, we helicopter pilots are bottom of the barrel my friends, and we have made it that to ourselves by doing stupid stuff like pretending that a bonus add-on is somehow salary. |
