The initial jolt of being woken up, deep breaths, focus on being away and thinking about what needs to be done. No magic bullet, but it got easier over time for me. Healthy lifestyle, stay hydrated, get good sleep outside of work hours. If that fails, caffeine. If you're still too groggy to fly, don't. |

I'm hoping to hear the truth. You can't get out of REM cycle enough to fly safely.
Nobody wants to admit it, at least, nobody in a position to do anything about it. |

is don't nap long enough to go in to that state. Light sleep, deep sleep, REM sleep. Keep ur napps on the very light side, set an alarm to avoid oversleeping. It does work.
That said I agree once woken from REM it is s bear waking sufficiently to fly. Ur head is just not fully in the game. |

Very easy. Don't work in that industry. Will not have to worry about waking up, will not have to work with passengers (medical personnel) who are very toxic, etc... |

Your body has no idea what time it is or whether day or night. its patterns. Research says change the patterns. Thats what every other adult and professional does. Try it sometime, or leave the industry. You are the problem. |

Sounds like you need to sleep in the day prior to night shifts and stay awake at night. If you need shut-eye restrict it to 30 minutes. |
