Turb don't amount to the worst you encounter in the middle of a t/storm.

Not enough to bounce 50 people off the roof and send them all to the hospital for concussions....

Pilots blame the autopilot.

Somethings fishy.

....there was no turb.

If there was the pilots would have turned on the FASTEN SEATBELTS LIGHT.

The plane was in clear air and tossed pax round like they were a salad at the olive garden.

pilots reported an autopilot issue.

Yet another incident.....of everyday Boeing happenings all over the globe.

If I get boeinged, just assume someone silenced me.

If you experts have any experience flying fast at high altitude  FL 250 and above you have an idea how strong clear air turbulence can be.   If it was an autopilot glitch I would think it would be a Phugoid type manuever not something that would pin people on the ceiling.  Why did people in their seats have their belts off in the first place.  Do you take your seat belt off once you get moving in your car.  If they were all walking around the cabin the trim couldn't keep up and that is an airline problem not the airplane .   For what it is worth all the problems Boeing is having is from Pizzing off someone in the Goverment or DOD.

That's funny. The "Goverment or DOD" is making Boeing eff up the plug where previously there was a hatch? Nope- it's Boeing's screw up. They've rested on their laurels and now they're paying the price for their hubris.

I’ll take a Boeing with conventional controls over Airbus and their goofy side stick controllers where only one pilot has control. Look up that Air France crash off the coast of South America where they couldn’t figure out who was in control. Can you say “fish food”.

As systems become more fly by wire, spurious signals, just like your computer, causes glitches. In this case, what happens if the AP system got a quick glitch and caused the flight path deviation. A lot has to do with the design philosophy of the programmers.

when marketing take control of production.  The objective has to be to produce solid aircraft and stay in business, not fulfill quotas at any cost.  Pretty obvious until management tries to run the QC show through being pushy.
