They walked away so not that terrible?
but pretty good position to make a nice auto. Shame they pooched it. Even had the nice soft sand to 0 speed and plop it down. |

Can't see any floats. Flew that coastline many times back in late 70's, and to call that "within the distance to shore line' is a stretch. And that was one the few beaches along that stretch. Walked away is good enough. |
