I schedule my recurrent during my regular hitch. I did it 4 months out. There were no slots during my off time for early grace, base month and late grace. I didn't ask or tell anybody. Guess what, nothing will happen.

just schedule your training just like I and everybody else does. if they want you on your off week so bad, give us some slots.

I'll let training figure it out two months before when the schedule is packed. After all, it's on them at that point with no repercussions for me, right out of the CBA.
