Just got a notice for dury duty for when I will be on my week on 600 miles from home. First time in this situation. How does your company handle jury duty. Id it a paid day, or do you lose pay?

Send the notice back explaining your situation.  During my seven day hitch I work in a different county, only 60 miles away, and they still immediately honored my request to be removed from the Jury list. 

 I'm due to report to county jail for a misunderstanding that turned into me catching a misdomeaner case but it's turning my hitch.  I think I'll take the warrant instead

Honor the request. Tell your employer you wish to be excused. Suggest they pay you full pay. Brag about it on social media. They can't say no.

Do you have to pay your employer any money that you receive from the government for performing jury duty ?

It's your civic duty. Do it. Like a grown-up.

Get you some bubba teeth.

Wear full camo and rubber boots like you just come from the duck blind this morning.

If you make it to the selection screening start saying dumb stuff about N-99ers.

Easy dismissal.

Respond to the notice by saying you are an EMS helicopter pilot etc.  Worked for me.  No jury duty for me.
