Airbus planes are amazing but their helos are total garbage. I'm sure there were multiple mast moment exceedances and all kinds of plastic interior pieces were cracked or will never be the same after that demonstration. That's one very expensive toy that operators are going to regret. |

I don't see much need for a helicopter that can do backflips. I do see a need for low cost to operate, safety, reasonable maintenance costs, parts support, large weight to payload capacity and reliable systems that current pilots can easily train into. |

nothing out of the positive G envelope. Whoever said nothing that a 500 couldn't do is right. Notice how at the top of the vertical he pulled into a hover to stay positive. Would have been interesting to see him do a hard push over at the top and play "crash a robinson". |
