The IAM does not endorse any strike unless 2/3 of the members vote in favor of doing so. I think the pilots union broke itself during the 2006 strike when it only had 25% of the unit. Someone from OPEIU should have stepped in and made sure they all knew outcomes of minority held strikes. history has taught us that 2/3 id the minimum requirement for a successful strike. 25% is too easily replaced with scabs and only hurts the employees and their unit.
