ADSB shows their normal tour route has them over open fields for essentially the whole trip and that worked out for them. I know everyone hopes if it happens to them that they wont even spread the skids but most of the time we do it with only the pilot and instructor and light on fuel. Fully loaded is a different animal and the pilot kept it upright and everyone walked away. That gig is normally an entry level job too so good chance the pilot was fairly low time so great job on that. Sadly we all know of scenarios where no one survives because the auto gets botched so this is a success in my book. |

Great job by the pilot regardless of experience. |
