Call me a cynical @ss if you want but I have a really hard time caring about pilots who were flying like @ssholes and killed themselves and their crew. Ive lost more than one friend in this business to things that were out of their control or were really just dumb luck. If you do stupid stuff intentionally, I dont want to see all the "fallen hero" crap. Do idiots deserve to die? No. But should we feel bad and act like they were some amazing hero pilot? Also no. |

As HUMS becomes more available and affordable in helicopters, that will curb a lot of the circus flying some of these barnstorming aviators are doing to impress their passengers. |

The med crew should have nothing to do with flying the machine the way it is intended to be flown. What they do in the back is their job. What we do in the front is ours. When those lines are crossed nothing good comes from it. |
