When they stop getting a flood of new resumes. As long as there are new hires willing to accept the lower wages, wages will stay low. What they do after they are hired, trained and experienced is of little consequence.

That should tell you something about what money is and isn't available to this industry.

They will raise the pay when you start leaving for the airlines.......But... they know you won't because you're too lazy to go out and improve your stock as an aviation professional. You simply think your financial woes will go away by complaining about it.  After all, you're a helicopter pilot. They have all you fools by the balls. A second year first officer at an airline is making more than you fools do after 15-20 years in EMS. A 15-20 year airline captain is making 400k. Yeah keep telling us why it's better to be a helicopter pilot.

 Well, not much. Most HAA companies threw some raises and bonuses. But you'll never see pie-in-the-sky airline wages.

 Ask yourself, is money the only thing? You can make 300K as a top stock trader, example,  but what do you like?

 My observation of a training captain at Compass. Make less than me, 20 nights away, not great benefits. Just my own observation.
