you should have a union soon

Over 50+ mechs currently comitted to making this happen. A lot of the older guys just don't know about it yet. Of the 50+ many have been with the company for awhile now. The problem I've been hearing is the Texas/Arizona locations just don't know about it or haven't made any effort to fill out info cards. This will take time but we are the closes we've ever been to making this a realit.

No company ever deserved a Union, that didn't earn one...

spouting all the union crap are the reason Cars now cost more than the home I live in that I only paid 65k for back in 2000.

you want your wages to keep up with inflation but not other people which is pretty much the maga way to think.

When you have a couple minutes, take a look at the compensation packages the upper managent are bringing home and how much it has grown in that last decade as compared to the line workers. Yeah, you will be surprised. 

I wish people would stop repeating that nonsense.

And yes, we know all about how "unions aren't necessary when employees are appreciated and paid what they are worth". EVERYBODY ALREADY F**KING KNOWS THAT. Is this your first day on earth? We wouldn't need water either if it wasn't for that whole THIRST thing.

Or how about "Im not a fan of unions BUT..." and then goes on to say how much a union is needed where ever they work.

No one gets in the garage to help dad fix the pickup anymore, because dad ain't around.  He's off banging the next generation of hoes up and coming because mom is an absolute horror to be around.  And besides he's got a brand new f250 anyway cuz he's and offshore sat diver.

No helpers to help dad fix the car, = no helicopter mechanics in the future.

I wanted the biggest loudest stereo in my boom truck when I was in highschool.  Why?  Cuz the chicks dig it and it got me laid.

I took that fundamental electronics knowledge and the AF trained me to work on Avionics.  I've been doing avionics $#!t since I was 17....because I could use those skills to make cash and chicks only f dudes with money.

That ain't happening anymore.  And the birthrate is proof.

You can't outsource good Mechanics, or Techs.  And no Union is gonna Instantly make all the lil hoes on Only hoes quit pining over Chad and start considering the lil nerdy dude on the geek squad down at best buy to start a fam with.

My Aunt at the Thanksgiving dinner table says to me "I got someone I want to fix you up with"  And I was like, no thanks.  I wanna retire in 2 more years at 50 and don't need no more Alpha widows looking for a beta bob to bail them out, helping me squander my saved up cash.  I got just enough for me and no one else when I exit this rat race.

Fwiw, the mechs at PHI need a union.

If you rub the magic genie bottle and a union pops out then all your troubles are over. Good luck with that. Just contain it within AirMed Group and keep it far, far away from O&G side.

Well the current way without a union is not working!!! There some mechanics who haven't seen a legit raise since 2013 or 2017. Some will be pay freezes for the rest of their time here since management has deemed them to be paid too much!!!! its time for this to end!!!! Time to set the bar highee in this industry!!!!

more than AMG, ans in some places 2x for Overtime, but good ole PHI just gace us a whopping 1.5% a month ago, while inflation is 6-8% and they want to cut overtime

That's why we need a union to try and make a change for the mechs in the company. Possibly change all of the EMS industry. When AMG and AM go bankrupt here in the next 12ms and we have a union established at PHI AM then hopefully talent will be flooding in for the higher wage openings, and better benefits. Hopefully pay will be where it should be and the sign of bonuses won't be needed anymore. It's a dream that can be a reality. UAW assembly line works should not be making more then highly trained and regulated HEMS rotary mechanics!!!! Also it shouldn't take 25-30 years for us to top out our pay!!! This is the most frustrating part about this, one of the biggest changes needed in PHI and our industr!!!
