Not sure this is a good place for intelligent and honest answers but here goes. It's a rich guy. His dog died. German Shepherd. He wants a fly in funeral, the dog casket will be in the R44. dude is a veteran. He wants a 21 gun salute using BLANKS. But he wants it under the rotor as the dog casket is being taken out of the helicopter, rotors running. Flag will be drapped over the oak casket. After the 21 gun salute I'm to shut down the helicopter and wait for the service to be over and participants leave. Question is....I know they're blanks but I've never used them. Is this safe? |

I would be more afraid of the flag flying up into the rotors ! Have the presenters stand at the ready on the outer edge or the rotor disc. The 45 Degree angle away from the helicopter would put the blank projectiles outside of the rotor disc. If your not trolling you have a very fertile imagination !! |

When the stupidity of the request goes up, raise the price accordingly. Think of yourself as your own insurance agent. What is the premium for this risk. You'll find the stupidity goes way down when the asker puts himself at risk. |
