Very few turnkey Powerline Pilots lefts.. lots of guys that can move ladders and men HEC but not a lot of guys that can run a job from beginning to end, Hang glass, blocks, pull, clip, space, skid, platform, mid span etc. 

Bring your skill set to the table and a couple contractors that are loyal to you and get paid!!! It's the Powerline way. Stay at a Hilton every night and get your insurance paid. If they don't make them give you a little extra to cover it.

you get to stay at a hilton and maybe get insurance, too! pretty much sums up why I hated power line work: the idiots. It was like working with offshore retards all day, not just flying them around.

hands down, it's the worst helicopter job there is behind tours. maybe it's a tie. I couldn't wait until I needed fuel it was so tedious and boring. Now that I think about it, the saw. the saw would be the worst. it would take a special breed of stupid to be able to do that for 28 straight days. 

It's a great industry. Enjoy your slice of it and try not those those around you miserably.
