PHI did it, AMC doing it, GMR will do it. Nothing will change, the private equity folks will still make out like kings while we do all the work. New owners for everyone, hopefully AMC and GMR learned from PHI that they shouldn't try to cheap out on the folks creating revenue.

They will. They have been aggressive hiring for over 1.5 years with big sign on bonuses and raises. What did that equal, still record high pilot openings. Money is the only thing at the end of the day that talks. Pilots and med crews are the ONLY thing that generate revenue. Everyone else is just a cost. The contract is coming. You're a complete idiot to think otherwise. But, then again, there are a lot of stupid helo pilots 🤔

Their numbers are pretty bad right now. And I highly doubt with us filing at the end of October that you're gonna be getting a new contract with Air Methods for the pilots.

More than likely you will be asked to take a 10% paycut to help the company through this difficult time.

Air Methods, like all the Air Transport companies deserve to die. The whole thing is fn corrupt. IFT's that should never be flown in the 1st place. It's fn despicable. I can't help but laugh at you. They have been thru it and they lost a lot of employees.  The president of the company which got fired kept saying that all these companies giving big bonuses and pay raises would be the first ones to go and fail and that they weren't going to chase the market.   well look at them now. Offering $50,000 sign on bonuses to $15,000 sign on bonuses for clinicians and pilots. Guess who's chasing the  market now 

And we're still going down the crapper. "Run Forrest run" is the tag line around here now.

tried the big boy game with a public company, got very rich through options exercise, then bailed to private buyout.  Lots of companies do the prop up the stock price by buying other companies and project addition to share value, efficiencies, etc only to really be buying troubles and complications - time, smoke, and mirrors.  Fact is very few big boys do this often, unlike this company.

now more "big boy" stuff.  About to dissolve @ 1.7 billioin $ of debt.  Tell me the rich don't know how to manipulate business so they and the lawyers and all that crowd never fail to get rich, and keep on doing it.

Don't think the bottom sides aren't covered, by pre-design.  Kinda smart, now the poor need to get in on the act.  Fair is fair.

AMSEC bought AMC, refinanced debts and assets reinvested the cash. AMC holds the debts, AMSEC has made its ROI. AMC is now holding the liabilities while AMSEC is clear. AMC provides cash flow to AMSEC. AMC can be sold, broken up, go Ch11, etc...

The US and all other countries are for sale and financiers use the system to increase their capital. Unfortunately, the capital goes into other investments and never back into the economy...and here we are.

 Don't make the mistake most of helicopter pilots before you have done. Get out NOW! In 5 years or less you can be a professional pilot working in the air industry earning double or triple and real benefits. Staying in helicopters is a reflection of your intelligence.

It's all a bit of a geopolitical crapshoot right now considering what 46 has managed to eff up, another way of saying the airline industry and helicopter ops may take a wartime hit (of what nature Unknown) similar to that COVID mess.

If you can afford the potential personal downside of switching to the airlines do it, otherwise play your cards closely.  My thought is this country is on the cusp of a military draft (again) and massive military buildup with awkward consequences.

Sure would like to see some leadership in this country.  Sure can't afford the current lot of buffoons!
