Looking to move to Milwaukee Metro Area and rated for 135. I heard a rumor that the metro base in Milwaukee is potentially closing? Is this true or the typical BS? TIA |

PHI has a base in Neenah Wis....and MTC has 2 bases in that area as well..Woodruff, Wisc and Mosinee...EC 135 IFR bases.....NEW aircraft...took it over from PHI who couldn't hold onto a simple 1 helicopter program.... |

And they are mostly OOS for maintenance. But that shouldn't matter to a pilot. |

The Metro base in Waukasha is closing / has closed. Not enough flight volume for the hospital to keep it open. Metro has a couple bases near there with openings, but not in the Eastern, WI area. |

AirMethods has a posting in McHenery, Illinois. Also Appolo Med runs out of Milwaukee area with a couple bases. Superior not doing well out of Waukesha. |
