The rotorhead looks as though it's been displaced a few feet aft. All that oil probably from the mast being ripped from the gearbox. Left main gear is on the ground too. So it hit the bridge hard enough to knock the helo off the trailer partially and rip the MRH/mast from the gearbox. $$$$$$$$

Driving a truck is supposedly so easy but this dip sht couldn't make a simple clearance measurement and deliver his cargo without destroying it, and damaging a bridge and making a mess of traffic in the process.  These Millenial truck drivers suk, they can't can't back into a business with closing the road for 15 minutes, can't merge on the highway, can't sniff the speed limit and his truck stop boy toy will pass him 1 mph faster than "they" are going taking 10 minutes to pass, clogging traffic.  Then they decide to go to fly-by-night diploma mill flight school and profane this industry.

From local TV station news " Denham Springs Police Department said the driver, 56-year-old Miguel Rodriguez, worked for Texas-based trucking company International Machine Transport. He was ticketed for careless operation." So not a millennial, nor a random trucker. On paper at least, a driver who definitely should have known better

But what's in Georgia where it came from?  or was that a typeo?  They mistyped Boothville?

Terminal antenna, Not PHI

All PHI 92's have IRIS.

Also, that's the fastest way to remove the MGB I've ever seen.  Gonna have to try that approach next time we have to pull the tranny....

When Clinton modified the original NAFTA he allowed Mexican trucks and drivers into bordering states. I think it has ben revised to all the US. Fake CDLs are a dime a dozen at most flea markets along the border.

Looks like he was westbound on I-12, headed for Lafayette, and got off at exit 10 (S. Range Ave, La 3002) maybe to go to get breakfast at the Pilot truckstop which is south of the Interstate on the west side of Range Ave. The overpass is marked on the northbound side of Range Ave. as having 15' clearance. Curiously, there was no sign on the southbound side, which is where the driver was approaching from.  There is speculation on PPRUNE that the ship is G-VIND, SN 92006, which was the (cough:::cough) "first" S-92 put in service, which was originally registered as N192PH.  Other's disagree, and speculate that it's a Bristow aircraft (but then why would it be going to Lafayette?).  Either way, sad end to that airframe.

Figures. Typical behavior here on JH. Contradict a post with a simple. "Yer wrong" or somethign equally pithy. But then provide no other explanation, as if we're just supposed to take your word for it. Because YOU KNOW! Goobers like you are what make this forum so worthless.

The important part is finding out the true tail number so that discerning pilots can scrutinize heavily (or avoid flying it) when the cobbled together resurrection emerges someday.

Learn the tail number.....lol.

Like tail numbers dont ever change.

News flash johnny, Phi changes tailnumbers all the time when a customer or pilot gets squirmish about flying a certain aircraft....and then give them the very same aircraft right back with a different tail number to go fly in.

What you are lookin for is the SN.  That never changes.

it looks like the tail would have hit if the MGB had not stopped the truck.  Probably repairable if there is enough insurance money.  Pretty careless.
