You need at least 1000 hours not even flying with a student sitting next to you, and then at least another 1000 more hours flying straight and level in the Gulf of Mexico before you're experienced enoguh to fly an EMS bird straight and level for a hospital transfer. |

In 30 years I can say I've seen more pilots quit flying when children came along than any other cause. I can also say that pay goes up in the wire trade every year. There's less and less pilots skilled enough AND willing to be gone from home weeks at a time. |

Doesn't matter? Yea so a husband leaving his 2 kids for 1/2 a year at a time and not watching them grow up or anyhting is the same as being single and being able to just move and do whatever with no family tie downs. |
