All depends on the intended mission. Skycrane is great for heavy lift but sucks for executive transport. EC-135 is great for vip, but sucks for primary training. (Too expensive).R-22 gets the training job done,(barely) but sucks for heavy lift.... |

Only thing going for the C2 model is the autopilot makes it a good SPIFR aircraft and it has pretty good fuel range. Cargo space is impressive. HORRIBLE ride in windy or turbulent conditions. Plastic POS everything. Depending on your supplier many parts have to come from Europe so that sux. Horrible preflight hand-hold/steps... makes no sense when they could have designed it like the 135. Stupid Airbus. Stupid latch designs. REALLY stupid compared to MD, Sikorsky, Leonardo, Bell... |
