Hello! :-)
I'm thinking in buying an helicopter for casual personal use. I'm reading about the r22 and the r44, but I think that I'm falling inside the typical ol' known helicopters. We are in the "modern" era, so maybe nowadays there are more helicopters out there for casual use better than the typical Robinson. I'm also looking for those 2 because I don't want to spend a lot of money in a casual hobby. Maybe 150k USD maximum second hand? With a "cheap" maintenance compared to other ones, would be really nice.
I live in a country where you can travel almost all of it in a 400km radius from the center (where I'm going to live) so having that autonomy would be awesome!
What do you think? Should I go Robinson or there are better options? |

Rotorway Exec or a Cabri G2 are less and would still be fun.
There's a smaller kit version of the old Bell47 that would be really fun (AMAZING visibility). |
