Aqualung has stopped supporting the MK and LV2 SEA Egress Air Bottles and was curious how many pilots use them.  When I flew offshore, very few people carried them and now that HUET trainijng is pushing them more and more, wanted to take a poll.

Where you getting the information AquaLung isn't supporting any more? Just got ours overhauled. I know there has been a delay in some overhaul kits because of some internal.

I do know that new ones are on significant delay (2024e) due to large US Federal order (USMC).

Have had several bottles at Capewell for inspection for well over a year. Everytime I ask for a status update the reply is "Not sure, parts delay from supplier, maybe another 60 days". Asked Aqualung rep directly about the delays and they said Capewell has priority for parts.

Terrible customer service.

I agree with the customer service part from AquaLung.

Have a local dealer, who is certified by AquaLung, to do these overhauls. They ordered a bunch of overhaul kits 18 months ago.

AquaLung made some dumb decision to move SEA to France and now is figuring out that isn't going to work.

There are too many units on the market and militaries that have selected for it to no longer be supported.

How well its supported remains to be seen.
