JBI Helicopters requiring their powerline pilots to have a class A CDL! WTH is up with that? I guess you'll have to do everything yourself.

Not inline with the market. Maybe theyre trying to get rid of pilots or trying to not grow the company?

It is not a requirement but it is preferred. When you have dozens of CDL trucks it is nice to have extra guys that can move them in a pinch.

To earn money sleeping! I love it! Work 6 months out of the year, home every night, sleeping in comfortable beds, it's nice!

That's it cupcake, do us all a favor and go work on those bed sores and the murses. You leave the real work to the real workers. The last thing anyone would want is for you to expand you horizons beyond video games, flying straight and level, and developing creative reasons to turn down missions.

Ok, it's just listed under minimum requirements. With the CDL training requirements that changed not long ago that's going to be a hard sell.

Hmm.... the Indeed ad I read notes CDL-A is shown as preferred not required. What is required that no other powerline company asks is for an instrument rating. The ad was posted 7 days ago.

Concord, NH?  Most redneck state in the union?  Beautiful scenery, boring culture.

years ago JB was a one man show and did a lot by himself.  Maybe some sort of outgrowth of that beginning.  Nothing wrong with doing other jobs than poling a helicopter around, which is indeed a hoot, far more so than airplanes.

HAVERFIELD has been crashing pretty steady for 13 years. They didn't shut down until recently.
