Anyone know where the crane got hit? Photos are dark and grainy but snorkel looks stowed and intact and it appears to be sitting even on the wheels. Tough old girl to take the hit anywhere else |

Maybe the 407 hit the snorkel tube from below, from another report. |

Why was C&C under the Crane? They should have been above and circling in the opposite direction! They can only deviate from this with prior communication with the other helicopters to advise them of altitude and position.
Someone really screwed uphere. |

The 64 took a different route to the fire, and was descending from above the 407 When they converged. |

Actually if you look at the path. The 407 was the one who took a different path. Did circles, and other stuff when the crane went direct. As helco, they should have been above. Not that low. |

Let's armchair quarterback the whole thing and not have one piece of evidence. Why wait until all the facts come out. Im sure most of you are not even fire pilots.. |

the operators will be briefed on the findings. If necessary policies/procedures will be revised. People with a need to know will get the facts.
The final report for the looky loos will be published after the report has made the rounds in the building. If you don't get the facts...it's not important for you to have them. |
