trying to figure out the big pedal Input that started the yaw rate, unless perhaps the iPad became lodged in the pedals, and the command pilot made a pedal input in an attempt to dislodge it, only further causing a greater stuck pedal situation and one that couldn't be reversed. Sad that is what brought the machine down. |

just a guess .. but dont think they even knew it was an IPAD quasing a stuck peddal situation... possible but just thinking not... from the look of the video it looks like things happened so fast.
For the CH drivers in the house.... what is the procedure for stuck pedal ?? fly away? cut power? Asking because I have no clue what the EP's are.

I cautioned one of our pilots about his c clamp gps bracket sitting above his pedals. It came as no surprise when I heard it fell off and went through the chin bubble. But he knew better and said it wouldn't be a problem. No problem for him, he didn't have to fix it. |

did in fact happen, causing the the machine to spin and descend, dislodging the ipad which was damaged by the pedals in the accident sequence. Just sayin.... |
