Turkey was pretty excellent, just got back 4 weeks ago.

Costa Rica is even better, visited twice now.

Will leave this place and take my winnings with me when I go.

Who am I?  A USAF vet, will retire at 50, been working since I was 15.......pressed into slavery at an early age in the family business.  Joined the service to get away from servitude because sometimes one type of bondage feels less than the other.  Watched the family business implode from the side lines......and disolve.  Got married, got divorced.  I Drone away in the rat race just to save enough wealth for that wealth to start building it's own wealth.  Watched inflation come in and steal what little I had saved. 

I used to bleed red white and blue.  But the decline has shown me there are indeed greener pastures. 

The woke have ruined this nation, it's beyond repair.  Entitled women and family courts have ruined the foundation upon what made this country strong....traditional family.  

So yes, I'm leaving.  And so are many others like me.  High wage earners, dinosaurs if you will.  But we will exit the work force 15 years before our due time and leave you and this government with a gap so large, a chasm so void this nation too will finally implode with no more tax base to draw upon you will see it spiral into the abyss.  Once that finally happens maybe then from the ashes it can be exceptional again.

Army having trouble meeting recruitment quotas:

Seems fat and dumb is the problem ....  applicants don't make the cut.  Army wasting resources trying to educate and run the lardasses into shape just to meet the (historically low) entry standards.  Wow...

I mean, when I went in....USAF only took the best and brightest....(ASVAB cutoffs)...the less scholasticly motivated had to apply with the lesser branches.  

So yeah, in a way you could say the AF was above...the military

I didn't trash my family.  I love my fam.  Just refused to be part of something that my old man ruined.  I was 16 when I could discern his unfaithful ways.  Flirting with the hired help...   Disappearing for hours, running off to see a cute cashier at the gas station on the corner down the road.  Forcing me up at 2am on a school day, Thursdays, Fridays....Stealing my Saturdays.....to go in to the Bakery and make the donuts and bread.....to the point where when I was competent enough he didn't even bother to come in, sent me instead.   I could see the abuse was only gonna get worse, so I fled.  To the Mil.  Refused to be part of his retirement plan.

It didn't take long for mom to get fed up with his bs after he ended up getting another woman pregnate, at surprise, another gas station clerk in Deer hunting country....hence my half brother I barely know.

I help him when I can, but he ruined our future family business made mistakes I can't correct.

Didn't know what BandJ was till I got to Lowry AFB and the loudest jackazz in the dorm kept going on and on about going down town to get some BandJ Icecream like it was the greatest thing on earth.....he happened to be a complete douch from NY. 

I tried the Chunky Monkey, it wasn't horrible.....haven't had any more since.  Bluebell, better, cheaper, and I can get it in 1/2 gal...not some lil gaey one serving bs cup.

You didn't say one positive thing about your family in the original post. Gosh, what a hard life you had. You ran away and left dear mother to fend for herself. You throw crumbs at you half-brother, then plan to leave the country for Pura Vida (Yeah, I've been there, too). This must be great therapy for you. And cheap, although you are now rich.

It was about you the OP getting all half chub about the US....which I say is in decline, has been for decades, at least since 1950.

Mom had her looks. I was out the house and on my own at 17, she had my 5 year old sis to care for on her own with Dad out the picture starting a new life with new wife.  Mom was a catch.  Didn't take her long to snag a beta bob like yourself at the local bar.  She married him a year later.  They are still together.  He's been good to her.  They care for each other.  He won custody of his 4 boys from the town w hore that he was previously married to.  None but one was probably his, because they all looked like they came from different daddies.  One for sure was because his rich Nonny would come pick him up on the weekends.  And the only one that truly was, obviously his, was tragicly killed in a high speed single car wreck with his friend at the wheel when he was about 21...

So yeah dic azz, now you know the tragic history of my f-up fam.
