Went out yesterday after seeing the poster discuss lack of birds above 1500 agl. It's true I didn't see one. on the leg back to base i let George fly and just relaxed a bit. Feet on the deck and a little Country music playing it out an occasional text or two (everyone does it, relax).

I just want to reinforce the fact that birds do not fly above 1500 agl.

Or at least Mr. Garmin? George doesn't make any sense.

there was a "HAL" or "Garmin". Lots of significant stuff happened before there was a "you".

US Air 1549 ingested birds at 2818'. Don't ever get too comfortable with your surroundings.

It happened once in aviation history so now it's a universal rule for all. Go work for the FAA.

Just Once? Try again, Buffy. Maybe you could research Eithiopian flight 302 that killed 152. You aren't really a pilot are you? But thanks for playing.

Didn't come in, slid down and gone but- blood, guts and feathers in behind the console. And all the years of grit grime and gunk...

Not counting the bird strikes on the rotor- pow! Just like the cartoon birds exploding. The birds were there first and they're not smart enouugh to account for 120 knot traffic... are you smarter than they are?
