Best memory of working maintenace at the Bristow Base there in Sabine Pass was when working the eveinng shift, at least one night on it, we would all go down to Sartin's Seafood and have the platter service. The land owner, who lived in the house beside the base was down behind the base where he had a hog pen. He was intecting the hogs when he slipped and injected himself in the leg. He died in that house a couple of days later from the infection. |

Sabine was the PHI base a new hire mechanic tried to install a tailroter on a mesquito sitting on a helipad. He would have got away with it but a senior mechanic walked by and noticed the tailrotor was installed backward. |
