for other reasons too bro. you probably think the divorce rate for helicopter pilots is lower than airplane pilots

You would be coming from a good paying, good union representation, professionally respected job with minimal BS to just the opposite. I think you would be really disapppinged. Find a good Part 91 or Part 135 FW job.

know your helicopter background but I hired a 35 year retired airline Captain w/about 3000 heli hours.  Very good fellow who discovered, as he told his airline friends, "he has to do it all".  Yes, it's different, as a HAA pilot you check your own weather, preflight the machine, fuel it up yourself, help get it in and out of hangar, do maybe nt run ups and check flights, ferry helicopters, jump in rental cars to go 250 miles to pick one up, and

A L L the rest.  Easy flying?  Generally yes.  Sometimes definitely not.  Nice coworkers on the medical side?  Depends, seriously.

Fill in the blanks, and there are lots of them.

Just kidding, eh?!

servicing the aircraft...inspecting the fuel farm...scrubbing toilets.

Wonder how many airline pilots do any of that?

so the airline pilot had 3,000 helicopter hours but had somebody do all that stuff for him previously. I hate these dumb bullsh*t stories from retards.

told his airline pilot buddies that there was no flight attendant to check in on him once in awhile to see if he needed anything and you should have seen their faces
