We flew the 23D in primary and really had fun in that machine.

Later, flew the 12E Hiller in Alaska on the slope for a bit. In the early sixties, a pilot named Link Luccett rescued

a bunch of climbers on Mt Mckinly at over 19 thousand feet... in the 12E.

Pretty good machine.

I have about 1700 hrs in a C model.  Was a very good helo to learn power management and flying at the limits. Great experience!
