Any truth to the rumor? They ceased operations today in Oregon/WA and California?Anybody know why?

137 doesn't require a chief pilot. So that doesn't make sense. Even if that was the case, your POI should allow it for 30 days while you search for a replacement.

he was also their DOM. Gotta have a DOM. And they have a 133. Have to have a chief pilot for that. Also their company requires someone in that position for safety reasons. So, yes, they gotta have a chief pilot. You're welcome

133 does not require a DOM. Operator required to comply with part 91 and part 43 regarding aircraft maintenance by persons certificated under part 65 or part 145.

I never said the DOM was required by the regs...more of a functional necessity than anything.
