vaxxx issue, but well never know....what I do know is this is far to many incapacitations since these BS shots rolled out.. How many is this? 6? 7? Bring on the deniers, but you can't disprove it either.

With that perspective, millions of people have been injected with the vaccine but there are not millions of people dropping dead. However, EVERY pilot killed by a cloaked UFO has died. It is pretty clear which one is really the culprit in this since the effects claimed to be caused by the vaccine don't pan out statistically and you cannot prove a cloaked alien didn't cause this.

Sounds like incapacitation shortly after takeoff would be a safe assumption.

Autopilot flew the filed flightplan at FL340 without deviation. Didn't execute the approach/descent but flew the flightplan until it ended at ISP, then last heading until fuel exhaustion.

My first guess is the jab got him. Second guess is a rapid decompression. If the cockpit side windows and cabin windows are frosted over it is most likely a decompression issue. If only the pilot died (from the jab) I would think the daughter or nanny might have got a hand mic and attempted a call. Maybe there is enough left of the pressure controller and outflow valve to figure it out. Maybe the F-16 drivers got some pictures. I would think that above FL250 in a single pilot operation he should have been on oxygen already.

makes more sense than hypoxia, that has, like, never happened before...totally remote/unlikely chance of that.  More likely incapacitation from a vaccine that most of the world has had.

Once your mind is made up, the evidence is everywhere.

No one knows what happenned. Wait and see.

If I owned a private jet that is certified for single pilot operations, I would have a second pilot anyway. If you own a private jet, you are a multi-millionaire at the least. Was saving $100k a year worth it?

Is probably the right answer. No one will ever know. single pilot, chances of being vaxxxed were high, and this has happened 7+ times since the shots already. Luckily each time other than the GOM accident, there was another pilot. Envoy pilot, died after takeoff, confirmed from be from vaccine. GOM pilot telling others he's not going to make it, then goes limp, also vaxxed. you deniers are blind if you think the vaccines don't have any negative effects.

Confirmed the windows were not fogged over / had clear view of the pilot slumped over. "Passed out"

more than likely, the passengers had no clue they were about to meet their fate.

I highly doubt this was an oxygen issue. Will be good to see the age of pilot, and what becomes of the investigation.

Anyone who suggests that just because "a person who can afford to own and operate a business jet should be able to afford a second pilot" really knows very little...so very little...about rich people. They are the cheapest a-holes on the planet. They not only want to keep ALL the money they already have, *and* use OPM (other peoples' money) for the "deals" on which they're always working. Second pilot? Rich people can't stand the fact that they have to hire the first pilot, who they feel just sits around and does nothing in between flights. I worked for one very unpleasant rich guy who twice told me, "You know, if you quit, I could find another pilot tomorrow." The first time, I was insulted. The second time, I took him up on it. He went through a string of replacements until he finally got fed up and sold the aircraft. And he was not the worst rich guy I've worked for.

In this particular Citation jet crash, a second pilot may not have helped. If neither of them realized that the cabin wasn't pressurizing, they both might've simply become incapacitated and gone to sleep as the jet climbed. What is needed is a big ol' bright red light on the dash that comes on and a *loud* alarm that sounds when the cabin altitude goes above 10,000 feet.  The Citation 560 has neither.

I know a lot about "rich" people. Not all are as you describe. What I said was that l  would have a second pilot. A second pilot may not have detected the loss of cabin pressure (if that was the problem). Then again, maybe he would have noticed. I do agree that a warning indicator of some type is needed. Same with parking brakes.

Accoding to the Washington Post, the NTSB said contact with the plane was lost during its ascent, at about 31,000 feet, about 15 minutes after takeoff. The plane then cruised at 34,000ft. If the pilot was incapacitated then, why/how did the plane make a u-turn? Very strange.

It's a pretty safe assumption that this flightplan would have been loaded into the nav system before departure.

After overflying ISP, the autopilot simply flew last heading until fuel exhaustion.

KUDOS to you for being adult enough to admit you don't know what you don't know.  A refreshing experience on this forum.

Those who have no idea should check out Honeywell's or Universal Avionic's FMSs (Flight Management System) online.  There is a ton of information and videos to explain how these things work.

Bottom line, if the approach wasn't "armed" or "activated," which obviously didn't happen if the pilot wasn't able in control of the system, they will do just exactly what the previous poster said.

hypoxia event. The reports said they lost communication with pilot 10 mins after departure. There is no way from takeoff that plane got to FL340 front last communication to cruise. No IFR plan would have a unrestricted climb right to that FL. BS

I’m still leaning toward a jab event. At FL250 or there abouts  he  should have been able to get a quick doning oxygen mask on in plenty of time (3 or 4 seconds at most), if the tank was turned on. Some private operators may keep the tank valve turned off so it doesn’t leak down and they have to shell out for a refil. If you have to fumble around and get the valve on that could be a significant delay. Ask me how I know this. In the 121 world it stays on and if it drops down we call for a refil or we don’t go. Part 91 guys usually don’t tell the boss about items like that, they just complete the flight and hope nothing happens. Nobody knows for sure right now. It could have been a blown window or maybe a door unlatched.

That’s a good point but consider this. Most intercom panels on jets are between the seats and the fuselage, in other words between the pilots outside leg and the fuselage structure. That is probably where a hand mic would be plugged in and down and out of sight and out of the way. He was probably on a headset/boom mic with a transmit switch on the forward side of the wheel. The captains switch is on the left side of his wheel and the F/Os switch is on the right side of his  wheel, thus leaving the inside hand/arm for throttle control. I don’t think those women could figure out the radios. Another point going against my jab theory is that if the pax were alive why couldn’t the jet jocks see any activity in the cabin? The jet jocks said they could see inside cockpit and see the pilot slumped over. Maybe they did see the ladies in back but they for sure won’t let that part of the story out in consideration of the family. I think it will come down to if the windows were frosted over or not. A couple of pictures will tell the story.

The shade were closed then it wouldn't matter. If It had a cabin door, and they couldn't see up front. And they simply were just not keeping track of time or didn't notice. They may just have been oblivious to their fate. If the F16 pilots saw no frosted windows, got close enough to see the pilot was slumped over to the RIGHT even, then they had clear view and this was not a pressure issue.

Good point about the window shades and them being completely oblivious. They had that 2 year old to keep them busy and probably never paid any attention to the pilot anyway, especially if he kept the cockpit door closed.

Even if this was vaccine induced, no media will ever report on it, and it will be censored. But we're unaware of the pilot was even vaccinated considering he was a private jet pilot and his southwest career ended way before Covid. Considering who owned the plane, I would expect they would be against the vaccine. Would be key to find out if the PIC even had the shots or not.
