I'm sure I'll get flack for this but I completely agree with this cause.

I know I worry everytime I go to my AME, and my blood pressure suffers as a result of it. I also know there are plenty of people out there that want to become pilots but can't because when they were 12 they were diagnosed with ADHD, or had a rough patch in life and took anti-depresants for a couple months. This system is messed up, and needs reform.

Or not if they discover something you should have reported there's no defense other than a real or concocted story that gains their mercy.  Suchhs but change the rule, don't break it.

I've said it before. Your AME should never know anything about your PCP. Damn sure never admit to anything he won't find.
Finding out you weren't truthful on your medEpress is a long shot for them. (Currently) you volunterring is a for sure no issue. The AME's don't like it and we pilots don't like it.

My good friend drives truck. 80,000 pounds rolling 11 hours a day. He passed his DOT with ease but has a few health problems that would be a sure fail for a pilot.

Remember guys no fed is out to help you by choice.

For you guys saying "What the gov doesn't know..." and "My PCP and AME should never meet..." I completely agree, but that is precisely what this is about. Wouldn't you rather not have to worry about it?
