Pretty much panic then crash, possible die. Or...... climb outside, walk on the skid step and get into the front cockpit the rest should be easy.

Check the fuel gauge and hope it is near zero.

Had a crewmember ask me once about pilot incapacitation, my reply was --whom ever you pray to, keep it short.    Unfortunately, everythings gonna happen very quickly.   Thats the unwritten risk we take, plain & simple.

I am surprised the FAA has not shut this stew piddity down already.  135.115, operational control, etc.

I get it.  Give them a checklist in the event of emergency, however anyone who has been in the biz more than a couple years knows exactly where this is going on the med team side.

It gives them enough information to really screw things up.

didn't read the whole article but saw the checklist, gotta love the fact that they suggest sending evevrybody up to 6500, going up wont kill ya but coming down from that alt will surely help in the end...

I would submit that “ smaller crew members “  Is smack  dead against DEI protocol. Even if you identify as “ smaller crew members “ you may not fit between the left front seat and door.

Just when you think it can't get any more stupid, someone shines !! the solution is simple:  unbuckle the incapacitated pilot open the door and throw him out.  He's probably dead anyway because he was a gumpy old guy.  Next one of the current computer Flite simulator med types just crawl up front and fly back to base.  Anyone can fly a helicopter, they do it all the time on TV !

I think crawl, walk, run should be modified to read as "bend over and kiss your azz goodbye".

Single pilot pt135 is more common than dual. There's nothing special about HEMS other than you have professional pax. Get over it.
