Too bad we couldn't treat scabs like the airline guys could. Denying them jump seats with their scab lists etc.
Still should make a scab list if we were to strike. |

Of air meth pilots would cross fast cuz they broke to begin with. Most are pay check to pay check so it wouldn't last and corp has em right where they belong. Broke with zero leverage |

until HEMS pilots can make 200k a year once senior it will be dismal pay in my opinion. Over worked and underpaid for the risks involved flying HEMS.. |

That was a shamefull time! Janitors in Houston were on strike at the same time, and THEY held the line. |

I was planning on retiring in December of the next year. Near the end dozens of guys left the union in a panic. I figured that SURELY the union would see the panic and not strike. I struck and didn't go back. |

Calling a strike was the union reps boneheaded move that allowed PHI to gut them. The OPEIU has always been checker players at a chess tournament. Always 3 moves behind and outmaneuvered at the end by the company. Just look at the history with PHI and Bristow. To sum up the OPEIU, William Shakespeare said it best from Macbeth: “Life's but a walking shadow; a poor player, that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more: it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.” |

I wouldn't cross any flying job picket line with the possible exception of OPEIU. I hold UPEIU in poor regard because they are ignorant about all things related to pilots. They cannot represent pilots well. Whatever I could do to help break OPEIU, I would seriously consider. |
