Any tips or wisdom on landing/T.O. 30th str / wall str boss just bought a 407 and may want to visit a few times this summe.

You need to take the SFRA course for NYC on the FAA website. Its not difficult once you know what route and altitudes to fly. There are a few videos on youtube for Hudson river flying that may help also.

Don't accept spot 2 because that's reserved for a billionaire that will abuse his pilots if he has to walk more than 20 feet.

Do you fly in the NYC at all or anywhere near?  As others said take the SFRA course, that will at least give you the basics of navigating the Hudson and East River SFRA but isnt enough to not get run over.  If you want to post an email address I can message you and exchange numbers and talk you through everything.

FAA famil course on NY airspace and call the heliport for info.
